Pelion Train

Famous for it’s unique route through the mountains, “Moutzouris”(translation “Smudgy”), began it’s maiden voyage in 1895. Designed and build by Evaristo De Chirico, father of the famous surrealist painter Giorgio de Chirico. The train is still admired nowadays, not only because of it’s manufacturing excellence but also for it’s full harmonization with the surrounding nature. Works still nowadays on regular schedule.
